The Jacksonville Zoo
I just went to the Jacksonville zoo on the 23rd of December for the first time. It was fun!
The layout of the zoo is in the "No-Walls" type setup where the animals look like they're in their natural habitat. The trails are a boardwalk that weaves among the animals in a well thought out and efficient manner. The selection of animals isn't as wide as most zoos I've been to, but they have enough to make a fun day for anyone! I've decided to get a season pass to it. The pass pays for itself in only 3 visits to the zoo within a full year. I'll go to it twice that many times. I just feel at home when I'm near the monkey cages.....hahahaahaha
